Welcome to my website. I am a Research Fellow at the ArgLab, the Reasoning and Argumentation Lab within the Institute of Philosophy (IFILNOVA) at NOVA University Lisbon.

NEWS (30/09/26): I have been selected for a competitive 3-year research fellowship, funded by FCT and hosted at ArgLab-IFILNOVA.

At the ArgLab, I also lead a 2-year group project funded by the FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia; grant ref. 2023.14900.PEX). The project is titled, Communicative Paths to Righting Epistemic Wrongs (CORES). You can find out more about the project, its members, and its activities, here.

Over the years I’ve thought and written a bit about paradoxes and theories of truth, epistemology and methodology of science, social philosophy of language and ethically-driven epistemology.

​

I was born and grew up in Italy, and trained as a philosopher in the UK. I've since also done a brief research stint in Brazil.
